This is awesome work! Using VLPs is the way to go. I don't know why so few vaccines (outside of HPV and HBV) take this approach, despite its greater power at generating strong immune responses. Kudos for sticking with this amazing, challenging, vital development process despite all the setbacks and roadblocks. Keep up the great work!

Have you looked into alternatives to LNPs? Researchers like Iwasaki and Saltzman at Yale and Xanadu Bio are developing polymer nanoparticles that allow the mRNA to be administered mucosally and it can be lyophilized for room temp storage, a big win for poorer countries.

Another more out-there alternative is using yeast to deliver the antigen, as with Chris Buck's "vaccine beer." Just give the yeast the plasmid and let them manufacture and deliver the antigen!

Looking forward to reading more about your excellent work to save all of humanity!
